1. Customer Cancellations

You may cancel your booking under the following conditions:

a. Free Cancellations

  • Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time are free of charge.

b. Late Cancellations

  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the pickup time may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Airport transfer cancellations made less than 3 hours before pickup may be charged full fare, depending on the driver’s travel time.

2. No-Show Policy

A booking is considered a no-show if:

  • The driver arrives at the pickup location

  • The driver waits 10 minutes (or longer if arranged)

  • The customer does not show up or cannot be contacted

  • In this case, the full fare may be charged.

3. Changes to Bookings

Customers may request changes such as:

  • Pickup time

  • Pickup location

  • Drop-off location

All changes are subject to driver availability.
If the change results in additional distance or waiting time, the fare may be adjusted accordingly.

4. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued if:

  • The service was cancelled within the free cancellation window

  • The driver failed to arrive without providing reasonable explanation

  • A payment error occurred

Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • The customer provides incorrect pickup details

  • The customer is not ready on time

  • The customer behaves abusively or violates our Terms & Conditions

  • Weather or traffic delays impact arrival time

6. Service Cancellations by Cork Taxi Service

We reserve the right to cancel a booking in cases of:

  • Driver illness

  • Vehicle issues

  • Severe weather warnings

  • Safety concerns

  • Unforeseen operational problems

If we cancel a booking, customers are entitled to a full refund or a rescheduled trip at no additional cost.
